1100-room rest house which looks like a Rajmahal in Gujarat’s Botad

Ahmedabad, A Gopalanand Swami Yatrik Bhavan has been built in Salangpur, Gujarat similar to a seven star hotel. This Gopalananda Swami Yatrik Bhawan is built at a short distance to the left of the Srikashtabhanjan Dev Hanumanji Temple in Sarangpur.

The elevation of this building, which looks like a Rajmahal, is of Indian Roman style. From where we have created a reception area that looks like an international airport lounge upon entering.

A total of more than 1000 rooms are available for travelers. The Yatrik Bhavan erected on 20 bigha land has been constructed in 9 lakh square feet. 8 storeyed and 108 feet high, this building is erected on 340 columns, including 500 AC and 300 non AC rooms, 5 servant halls, 14 store rooms.

In Gopalanand Swami Yatrik Bhavan, more than 5,000 people can stay comfortably in more than 1000 rooms, five to one room in the entire building. In this building, the maintenance rent for 400 AC rooms will be 1500 rupees and 300 non-AC rooms will be 800 rupees.

In which four single beds and one mattress, quilt and pillow and a chair will also be provided in each room. So the maintenance rent of one per 45 suite rooms will be 3 thousand rupees. Each room will have 4 single beds and one double bed, table and chair with furniture.

Union Minister for Home and Cooperation Amit Shah, on Thursday, inaugurated a newly constructed guest house at the Shree Kashtabhanjan Dev Hanumanji temple at Gujarat’s Salangpur. The guest house – Gopalanand Yatrik Bhavan – has been built at the cost of Rs 200 crore.

Speaking on the occasion,Amit Shah narrated the various forms of Lord Hanuman and said, “In my life, whenever I faced a crisis, I got rid of the same while bowing down before (Hanuman) Dada.”

He also said that the guest house has been built in a 9 lakh square feet area, with more than 1150 rooms. It has been built in a short span of two years. Shah said that the guest house will prove to be a “much needed resting place” for devotees coming from far away places.

Shah also sought divine blessings at the temple along with his family.
