GLS University’s Business Faculty and National HRD Network Illuminate Pathways at HR Conclave 2023″

Faculty of Business Administration, GLS University, in collaboration with the National HRD Network  (Ahmedabad Chapter), successfully conducted the impactful “One Day HR Conclave on Diversity,  Equity, and Inclusion” on August 25, 2023.

The event commenced with an insightful keynote address  by Mr. Anand Pillai (Leadership Coach and Chief Transformation Officer, Sutherland), setting the  stage for compelling discussions. Mr. Pillai primarily focused on the major components of diversity gender, education, and culture.

He also said, “I believe in the importance of equitable  treatment…choose organizations that resonate with the core human values, and foster a culture that  not only tolerates but truly celebrates diversity.” Experts and Panellists- Ms. Miti Randeri, Mr. Sudeep  Singh (Head- Human Resources, Hester Biosciences Ltd.),

Mr. Nisheeth Mehta (Founder and CEO of  Microsign Products Pvt. Ltd. Bhavnagar), and Ms. Maria Sharma (Head-Partnership & HR at Go  Dharmic, POSH enabler, Consultant, Academician) explored effective strategies for promoting  diversity, ensuring equity, and fostering inclusion in workplaces.

During the panel discussion, the  invited experts discussed the longstanding existence of DEI and emphasized that acceptance could  be the overarching solution to the majority of issues in this realm, while also highlighting the need to  enhance dialogue regarding representation and sensitization.

The conclave also featured theme based competitions like Talent Scout, Anubhooti, and Recruitment Battle, augmenting the  engagement.

The event garnered enthusiastic participation from over 150 students representing  more than 15 esteemed organizations across Gujarat. The HR Conclave 2023 was graced by the  presence of Dean Prof. (Dr.) Shefali Dani, faculty members, dedicated staff, and students of the  Faculty of Business Administration, GLS University.
