HCL Concerts Debuts in Ahmedabad with A Night of Ghazals by Richa Sharma
Ahmedabad, 28th June 2024: HCL Concerts, an initiative by HCL dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Indian music and dance, made its debut in Ahmedabad with an evening of Ghazal and Sufi with renowned playback singer Richa Sharma. The event, held at the Pt Dindayal Upadhyay Auditorium on 28th June, marked a significant milestone in the city’s vibrant cultural journey, captivating an audience of nearly 1,000 people.
As part of HCL Concerts’ ongoing mission to connect audiences with India’s musical traditions, this event showcased the soul-stirring beauty of ghazals and sufi music. Ahmedabad joined the illustrious list of cities that have hosted HCL Concerts, including Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Kanpur, Nagpur, Madurai, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai, New York, and San Francisco.
In the culturally rich city of Ahmedabad, the evening was filled with timeless masterpieces like “Sanu Ik Pal”, “Sanson Ki Mala”, “Kinna Sohna” and “Maula Karam” She was accompanied by numerous talented musicians, including Govind Gawli, Naeem Sayyed, Umang Doshi and Amborish Saikia.
