Investment Awareness Program GLS University in collaboration with NSE

Ahmedabad, The Faculty of Commerce at GLS University, under the Arthshashtra (Economics Club), organized a highly impactful Investment Awareness Program in collaboration with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on 9th October, 2024.

This initiative aims to foster financial literacy and empower individuals with the necessary knowledge to navigate the complex world of investments and capital markets. The event was designed to cater to both students and individuals eager to deepen their understanding of financial strategies, wealth creation, and market investments.

This session has emphasized the importance of financial awareness in today’s fast-paced, dynamic world. She mentioned that the program was part of a broader effort to equip individuals with essential tools to achieve financial independence and security. In a time where personal finance management and investments are becoming increasingly important, this program stands as a vital resource for individuals at varying levels of financial knowledge.

The Investment Awareness Program focused on educating participants about the following critical areas such as informed decision-making, wealth creation and capital market. This session would help students to understanding how to make well-researched and informed decisions regarding savings and investments, learning strategies to grow personal wealth through diverse investment opportunities and gaining a comprehensive understanding of capital markets, their role in the economy, and how individuals can benefit from them.

A significant highlight of the event was the presence of Amita Patel, a seasoned Security Market Trainer and former Deputy Manager at the State Bank of India. Her expertise was a major draw for attendees. She shared her extensive knowledge on investment strategies, guiding participants on how to manage and grow their finances effectively.

During her session, she discussed the importance of diversifying investments to minimize risk and maximize returns. She stressed the need for individuals to stay informed about market trends and financial products, as well as to seek professional advice when necessary. Patel’s engaging and informative approach helped simplify complex investment concepts, making them accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial background.

In her opening remarks, she noted how essential it is for individuals to take control of their financial futures in a world where economic conditions can shift rapidly.
