EXPLORER 3.0 2024- A NATIONAL LEVEL BUSINESS CONCLAVE EXELLS AT GLS University
Ahmedabad, GLS University’s Faculty of Commerce GLS-FOC and Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India have jointly organized the third edition of Explorer 2024 – A National Level Business Conclave on 1st and 2nd October 2024.
Business Conclave- Explorer 2024 events revolved around a wide range of subjects including leadership strategies, innovation, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing and sustainability, enabling students to broaden their horizons and receive a 360 degree experience of the business world. The objective behind organizing this Business Conclave is to provide students a plethora of opportunities to sharpen their skills as individuals as well as the future managers.
The Inaugural Function was graced by eminent Chief Guest Dr. Dipesh Shah, executive director IFSC gift city Gandhinagar, CA Sunil Sanghvi Chairman Ahmedabad Branch ICAI and Dr. Dharmesh Shah, Provost, GLS University.
Dr. Dipesh Shah, said that, “Language and fluency isn’t required for success as success knows no barriers.’ He emphatically told the students that the process of exploration is very important, so ‘Take Initiative, Become an enabler, a contributor.’ Also Mr Dipesh Shah mentioned that “Maintaining a positive and open-minded attitude is essential for personal growth, resilience, and achieving success in life.”
According to Mr. Sunil Sanghvi, whatever work we do we either succeed or we get to learn something valuable. The statement by Mr. Sunil Sanghvi “We either succeed or we gain valuable experience” highlights that every effort leads to a positive outcome. If we achieve our goal, we succeed. If not, the experience we gain helps us grow, learn, and improve for future attempts. It encourages viewing setbacks as learning opportunities rather than failures, making the journey as important as the destination.
Dr Dharmesh Shah, Provost, GLS University congratulated the participants for stepping out and participating in such a national level competition wherein various students from several institutions would compete. According to him, Explorer is not just a gathering of like-minded individuals; it is a platform for us to exchange ideas, share experiences, and learn from one another. It is a space where we can collectively chart the course for the future of business in our nation.
He rightly mentioned that over the next 2 days we will explore topics ranging from innovation and sustainability to entrepreneurship and leadership. Our aim is not just to gain knowledge but to ignite a spark within each one of us – a spark of creativity, a spark of determination, and a spark of purpose.

- The Boardroom:- In the realm of strategic brilliance, witness the expertise of aspiring C-Suite executives as they dissect intricate business cases.
- Marketing Maestro:- Pitching innovative campaign presented with flair and showcasing financial savvy.
- FinExchange:- Like IPL auction, similarly in Fin Exchange students have the freedom to choose any instrument they wish to bid. Overall return on investment is to be considered for winning.
- Right to debate:- In this event ideas are fierecely debated, logic is wielded6with precisions and arguments are forged in the fires.
- Find My Balance- This event challenges you to crack cryptic clues, navigate a labyrinth of puzzles and unearth hidden knowledge.
In this mega event more than 300 students across 10 cities of India participated enthusiastically.
Explorer 2024 was co-ordinated by student team of FACULTY OF COMMERCE, GLS UNIVERSITY under the guidance of the faculty coordinators Dr. Krupa Bhatt, Dr. Aashal Bhatt, Dr. Jaimin Patel, and Dr. Sneha Master.
