Ahmedabad, 26 April 2025: The Ahmedabad Chapter of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) and The Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) marked National PR Day 2025 on Friday with a thought-provoking session on “Responsible Use of AI: Role of PR”.
The session focused on the evolving landscape of Public Relations in the era of Artificial Intelligence and highlighted the pivotal role PR professionals will play in the responsible adoption of AI across industries. The session was conducted by Vikram Kharvi, CEO of Bloomingdale PR and Founder of Vikypediacom.
Vikram Kharvi shared his insights on how PR can navigate the complexities of AI, ensuring its ethical and beneficial implementation while fostering trust and transparency. He also addressed key topics including challenges associated with AI adoption, building trust and transparency around AI technologies, and the future of PR skills in an AI-driven world.
Speaking at the event, Vicky Shah, Chairman of PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter, said, “National PR Day serves as an important reminder of the strategic value of public relations in building reputations and fostering understanding. As we step further into the age of AI, PR will play an important role in guiding its responsible use. This session with Vikram Kharvi offered invaluable perspectives on how our profession can shape a future where innovation and ethical considerations go hand-in-hand.”
Expressing his views on use of AI in PR, Mr. Vikram Kharvi said “AI will undoubtedly transform how we communicate, but it’s up to us in the PR community to ensure that transformation is rooted in trust, transparency, and responsibility. Public relations is not just about storytelling—it’s about safeguarding the truth in an era of synthetic influence. I’m honored to share this message here in Ahmedabad, a city that understands both the power of technology and the value of ethics.”
The event was attended by PR and corporate communication professionals, industry leaders, experts, and students, who gained a deeper understanding of the intersection between PR, ethics and technological innovation.
