Ahmedabad Hosts Pioneering Conference on Lung Cancer Advancements

Ahmedabad, HCG Aastha Cancer Centre, in collaboration with the Ahmedabad Cancer Foundation, successfully hosted the Thoracic Oncology Update 2025, a groundbreaking conference centered on the theme “Treatment Advancements – Connecting Roots to Future in Lung Cancer.” The event took place on 18th and 19th January 2025 at the Renaissance Hotel, SG Highway, Ahmedabad and was attended by prominent oncologists, surgeons, researchers, and healthcare professionals from across the country.

The conference served as a crucial platform for sharing knowledge, discussing cutting-edge advancements, and fostering a multidisciplinary approach to lung cancer care. It focused on the latest treatment modalities, including targeted therapies, immunotherapy, advanced surgical techniques, and the integration of precision medicine.

Sharing his thoughts on the significance of the event, Dr. Kshitij Domadia, Consultant in Medical Oncology at HCG Aastha Cancer Centre, said, “The fight against lung cancer demands a collective approach, combining research, clinical expertise, and patient-centered care. Speaking on the event’s impact, Dr. Kinjal Jani, HOD of Radiation Oncology at HCG Aastha Cancer Centre, noted, “Thoracic Oncology Update 2025 bridged the gap between current practices and future advancements in lung cancer care.
