AMA organized the Symposium on “Mother Language, Books, and Life” and launched the Book Fair

Ahmedabad, On the occasion of the advance celebration of International Mother Language Day 2025, AMA hosted a unique symposium on the theme “Mother Language, Books, and Life” addressed by renowned experts and launched the book fair of Best Sellers Books and AMA Publications.
On this occasion the Book “Spaces of Leadership: A Self-Reflective Model” authored by Prof. Dr. Indira J. Parikh (President, ANTARDISHA, Former Dean, IIM Ahmedabad) and Ms. Kamya Pahwa was also released. This book is based on the Leadership Model conceptualized on Work Space, Social Space and Life Space anchored in self-reflectivity and identity.
Jnanpith Award Winner Shri Dr. Raghuveer Chaudhary (Gujarati Writer), Prof. Sunil Handa (Visiting Faculty at IIM Ahmedabad, Founder of Eklavya Education Foundation), Prof. Dr. Indira J. Parikh and Dr. Savan Godiawala (President of AMA) launched the Book Fair and released the Book.
Shri Vinesh Antani (Gujarati Writer), Shri Yogesh Joshi (Gujarati Poet and Writer), and World traveler Smt. Preety Sengupta (Gujarati Poet and Writer) addressed the Symposium and highlighted the importance of learning in mother language. The book published in the mother language can help the learner to understand easily and gives a special feeling while reading and learning.
Books are necessities for sustainable success and development of individuals and the society. Shri Bhikhesh Bhatt (Publication Minister, Gujarati Sahitya Parishad) introduced the theme and Dr. Mital Makrand (‘Ekant’, Poet, Media Professor, International Media Expert) moderated the Symposium. The Book Fair will remain open on Saturday and Sunday, 15th and 16th February 2025 from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM for the public.
