With a top speed of 80km/h, the scooter has two modes- Zip mode and SmartEco mode. The linear throttle response of the product makes it easy for riders of all skill-levels to ride the scooter and can be easily ridden on steep slopes in parking lots. Overall, the Rizta offers a comfortable city riding experience.
The scooter also comes with Ather’s Magic Twist feature, which is an evolution of conventional regenerative braking, can bring the scooter to a complete halt and works even at 100% battery charge. With the Magic Twist, users can brake with negative input on the throttle. It is highly intuitive, innovative, fun and is extremely practical and convenient in city riding conditions.
Uncompromising Safety
Ather Energy has prioritized safety for two-wheeler riders by incorporating multiple safety features into its products. With the Rizta, Ather introduces SkidControl™, a proprietary traction control system that manages motor torque to prevent loss of traction on low-friction surfaces like gravel, sand, water, or oil. Other safety features include FallSafeTM which switches off the motor once it detects a fall and Emergency Stop System which flashes the tail light rapidly to indicate to the vehicle behind that you’re coming to a sudden halt.
In addition, the software enabled ‘Live Location Sharing’ which is a part of the new AtherStack 6, allows riders to share their location with a preset contact in just a few clicks and enhances the safety of riders in emergency situations.

Bookings are open with deliveries starting in June 2024. The Rizta S with a 2.9 kWh battery is priced at INR 1,09,999. The Rizta Z with 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh batteries are priced at INR 124,999 and INR 144,999 respectively (ex-showroom Bengaluru).
The Rizta S is available in three monotone colors, and the Rizta Z comes in seven colors, including three monotone and four dual-tone options, ideal for daily commutes and short-distance travel.
