iCreate Kicks-off Nationwide Roadshows for EVangelise ’23, India’s Largest EV Innovation Challenge
Ahmedabad: iCreate (International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology), India’s leading innovation-based start-up incubator, today launched a nationwide series of roadshows to spread the EVangelise ’23 awareness amongst students at the country’s premium colleges.
With the aim to promote and accelerate innovation in the EV industry, iCreate will be engaging with over 5000 students from multiple institutes across18+ cities over the next 6 weeks. The first of the set 3 roadshows will be held in Gujarat, flagging off at Anant National University, Ahmedabad on July 21, followed by Birla VishvakarmaMahavidyalaya (BVM), Anand and ASHINE-SVNIT, Surat on July 22 and 28 respectively.
Commenting on the upcoming roadshows, Mr. Avinash Punekar, CEO, said, “We are thrilled to launch the roadshows for EVangelise ’23. The events, in partnership with various institutions and organisations, across the country will serve as catalysts for innovation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration in the electric vehicle sector. We look forward to bringing together key stakeholders to transform India into a global hub for EV innovation.”
The roadshows have been strategically scheduled across the country spread over cities in collaboration with various institutes, spanning the months of July and August. Participants will have the chance to engage with subject matter experts, learn about the latest advancements in EV technology, and clarify their understanding about the Evangelise ’23 contest categories.
In its third year, EVangelise ’23 is a one-of-a-kind national challenge designed to accelerate the development and adoption of electric vehicles in India by identifying and supporting budding entrepreneurs and promising innovations in the sector.
Apart from this, EVangelise ‘23 will also open new opportunities for capital and market access for startups through VC engagements. Through a series of roadshows, iCreate aims to bring to the stage a few industry leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs and policymakers to share insights and seeds the sparks to further drive the growth of sustainable mobility solutions.
The innovation challenge is open to individuals and organisationsinterested in electric mobility, including start-ups, researchers, industry professionals, and government representatives.
