Nanty Shah emerges victorious in regional elections of Coastal Accountant association of India, brings laurels to Surat
Ahmedabad, Practicing cost accountant from Surat, Nanty Shah has emerged as the winner of the regional council elections of Coastal Accountant association of India, held recently on July 1, 2023. Shah will represent five states of Western India, namely Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, as the member of the council. Notably, the Central council elections of the association had also been organized on the same date and the counting of the votes concluded on July 11.
With this accomplishment, Surat has bagged a position in the regional elections after almost a decade and a half and Shah has brought laurels to the city by emerging victorious. He competed with 15 other contenders in the regional council elections, while the total number of contenders for the central council elections stood at seven. As many as seven people were chosen to be the members of the council in the regional council elections, while four were chosen from the central council elections.
After winning the regional council elections of the association, Shah said, “It gives me immense pleasure to be coming across an opportunity to serve as the member of council of five Indian states. I pledge to discharge my duties conscientiously and will always strive for betterment”.
Hailing from Vadali Sabarkantha town of Gujarat, Shah is the coordinator of business cell of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) of Surat, a member of the board of studies of the BCom and BBA disciplines offered by Bhagwan Mahaveer University and the member of various other organizations at present.
Mihirbhai Vyas has amassed a huge number of votes to claim the regional council elections from Baroda, while the title for the central council elections has gone to Ashwinbhai Dalwadi, who hails from Ahmedabad. On the occasion, Dalwadi also expressed his delight and said, “I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for having faith in me and finding me as a befitting person to grace the position of member of central council”.
