‘Target Week’ brings an action-packed twist on COLORS’ ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’ this weekend

Mumbai, The dose of adrenaline gets bigger with each passing episode on COLORS’ ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’. The excitement is set to skyrocket with ‘Target Week’ which will keep the audience at the edge of their seat.

This weekend’s episode will kick off with the action master and host Rohit Shetty creating two rival groups of five contestants, and each group must pick one contestant from the opposite group as the chosen target for elimination. With two contestants nominated for the elimination round right at the beginning of the episode, what does this week have in store for the audiences? Only time will tell.

The course of terrors begins with the first time-bound stunt that will evoke the fear of heights and an electric shock among contestants. Performed in partnership, this stunt dictates that two contestants must ascend four levels of scaffolding; each level has an electric shock-ridden box with a disc inside. One contestant must procure the key to it and pass it to their partner, who must brave shocks, unlock the box, and yank out the disc.

Taking the fear factor to a whole new level, the second stunt will have contestants braving their fear of heights and pushing the limits of their stamina. Performed in pairs, the stunt involves one contestant holding on to a scaffold-like structure as long as they can, while their harnessed partner grabs them. The former must jump and lunge for a flag planted near them. It will be worth watching who aces this challenging feat.

The third stunt of the week begs the answer to the question ‘Who let the dogs out?’. For this stunt, contestants must pick bones planted across different set-ups on a beach while a feral dog is chasing them. The fear of whether the untamed dogs get the bone or worse the skin of the contestant is the hook of this menacing stunt. The next stunt requires contestants to lay on ice cubes in an enclosure with an electric shock-ridden box that they’re supposed to unlock with a key.

While the onslaught of phobias continues, a few light moments transpire as Aishwarya Sharma mimics Archana Gautam’s hilarious singing voice, Nyrraa performs a dance and Soundous braves her fear of rats by holding one hesitantly. What follows is ‘Rohit Ke Mann Ki Baat’, a segment that will have the contestants in splits. The host shall shedlight on the quirky tendencies of the contestants

Caught between the devil and the deep sea, contestants will literally and metaphorically be in the same moving boat as they are tasked with plucking out flags planted on a net. The duo must flex their strength and pick a maximum number of flags. In the final elimination stunt, two rival khiladis must grab a lemon and chillies by their mouth from a bowl of iguanas and create the popular good luck charm called nimbu mirchi totka. Find out who will ward off the evil eye and dodge elimination in the upcoming episode.
