Ludhiana based VSSL expanding its capacity to 2.3 Lakh MT by FY2025
New Delhi, Ludhiana based Vardhman Special Steels Limited (VSSL) is expanding its capacity to 2.3 Lakh MT by FY25 from current level of 2 Lakh MT at cost of Rs 300 crores, which will mainly be funded through equity infusion and internal accruals. This includes the cost of the land for the production unit.
“Vardhman Special Steels Limited (VSSL) has partnership with Aichi Steel Corp, a Japanese steelmaker and an affiliate of automaker Toyota Motor Corp is leading producer of special steel products in India especially for the automotive sector .
The Joint project of Vardhman Special Steels and Aichi Steel will add to the job market too and give a boost to the steel industry in South Asia in the coming years.” Said Mr Sachit Jain , Vice Chairman and Managing Director Director , Vardhman Special Steel Limited (VSSL) while speaking at an interactive session ‘Leading from the heart’ organised by FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) in league with its Ludhiana chapter.
