Rajgarh, Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation and Senior BJP leader Shri Amit Shah addressed public meetings at Guna and Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh on Friday and underscored the BJP’s commitment to a uniform civil code and criticized the Congress party’s stance on Muslim personal law. During the event, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Mohan Yadav, Guna MP Shri KP Yadav and BJP Lok Sabha candidates, Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia from Guna and Shri Rodmal Nagar from Rajgarh, among other leaders were present.

Shri Shah began his address by paying homage to ancient deities like Kedarnath Ji, Bhisbhuja Mata, Karni Mata, Kareela Mata, Sant Ravidas Ji, and Tekri Sarkar. He credited the sacrifices made by Rajmata Scindia in laying the foundation of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and the BJP, emphasizing that without her contributions, the party wouldn’t have reached its current stature. Every vote given is not just for Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia but also for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Shri KP Yadav has executed exemplary service in the region.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri Shah asserted that elections are significant in shaping the nation’s economic framework. Election’s focus on uplifting crores of women, symbolized by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s initiatives like empowering 1 crore ‘Lakhpati Didis’, providing 4 crore new homes for the poor and installing solar panels for 10 crore people to alleviate electricity bills.

Shri Shah emphasized Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s transformative actions for millions of underprivileged citizens over the past decade, contrasting them with historical achievements. He stressed the election’s pivotal role in delivering direct financial assistance to 11 crore farmers and liberating 10 crore households from electricity bills through solar panels. The monumental endeavors of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi are reflected through the mission to make millions financially independent and alleviate poverty.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister stated that the Congress party has been talking about eradicating poverty for years, for four generations, the Congress has discussed poverty alleviation, but nothing was achieved. In just 10 years, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has uplifted 25 crore people across the country, out of poverty. Shri Narendra Modi has provided 5 kg of grains per person per month to 80 crore people. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has supplied free rations to over 80 crore poor people, built toilets for 12 crore people and provided pucca houses for more than 4 crore people. He has also brought electricity to 3 crore homes, provided gas cylinders to 10 crore women and given 14 crore people ‘Nal Se Jal‘. PM Shri Narendra Modi ensured the safety of the country by providing free COVID-19 vaccinations to 130 crore people.

Shri Shah conveyed that for 70 years, the Congress party treated Article 370 like their own cherished child. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi abrogated Article 370 on 5 August, 2019. Rahul Gandhi used to claim that there will be rivers of blood after Article 370’s removal but five years have passed and no one has even dared to lift a stone. PM Shri Narendra Modi has eliminated terrorism and Naxalism from the country. During Digvijay Singh’s tenure, Madhya Pradesh was considered a state affected by Naxalism, but today, Shri Narendra Modi has successfully eliminated Naxalism from the state.

Senior BJP leader highlighted that during the Congress era, under Manmohan Singh’s governance for 10 years, frequent bomb blasts and infiltration by Pakistani terrorists were common. After Shri Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, Pakistani terrorists made the very mistake again and conducted bomb blasts in URI and Pulwama. However, they were unaware that now India has Shri Narendra Modi’s BJP government. Within just 10 days, surgical strikes and airstrikes were conducted by entering Pakistan’s territory to eliminate terrorists.

Shri Shah stated that for 70 years the Congress party hindered the issue of the Ram Mandir but when the people elected Shri Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for a second term, within just five years, he did the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ of the Ram Mandir and performed ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Lalla.  Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi received an invitation but they were too busy to attend the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Lalla. Meanwhile, Shri Mohan Yadav arrived with his entire cabinet for the darshan of Ram Lalla. On the day of the Pran Pratishtha, Shri Mohan Yadav also went to pay his respects at the Raj Darbar of Orchha.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri Shah mentioned that the Congress party’s manifesto declares they will reintroduce personal law in the country. They aim to bring back Muslim personal law nationwide. Rahul Gandhi might do whatever he needs for appeasement, but as long as BJP is present, personal law cannot be enforced, the country will operate under the UCC. BJP has introduced the UCC in Uttarakhand, and it is Modi Ki Guarantee UCC will be implemented across the whole country.

Shri Shah highlighted that Digvijay Singh’s perspective on terrorism has become flawed. He keeps saying “Bhagwa Aatankwad” while calling Pakistani terrorist Hafiz Saeed ‘Sahab’ and supporting Zakir Naik. Digvijay Singh opposes the hanging of Afzal Guru and the ban on PFI, while using force against supporters of CAA.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri Shah highlighted that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has established the new Parliament and the Kartavya Path. Chandrayaan made its historic landing on the moon’s south pole, marking the Shiv Shakti point established under Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s top priority for the country’s development has been the SC-ST and OBC communities. Whereas the Congress party argues that Muslims have the primary right to the country’s resources, but the rightful claim belongs to the poor, Dalits, OBCs and tribal communities and this cannot be disputed.

Shri Shah pointed out that the Congress is an Anti-OBC party as they kept the Kaka Kalelkar and Mandal Commission reports hidden for years. They did not offer reservations for OBCs in central institutions and failed to establish an OBC commission. It was Shri Narendra Modi who introduced 27% reservations for OBCs in NEET exams, medical admissions and other central institutions.

Hon’ble Union Home Minster Shri Shah stated that during Congress rule, MSP for maize was ₹1,300, which PM Shri Narendra Modi increased to ₹2,000. He raised soybean’s MSP from ₹2,560 to ₹3,600 and wheat’s MSP from ₹1,400 to ₹2,275. Shri Rodmal Nagar allocated ₹2,000 crore for the Ramganj Mandi-Bhopal railway line project. Grain production reached 12 lakh metric tons. ₹400 crore was used to establish a medical college in Rajgarh, while ₹100 crores funded a 7,000 km pipeline that provided ‘Nal Se Jal’ to 1,350 villages. Shri Rodmal also opened one of the seven vocational colleges in the country for ₹27 crore. He established an Adarsh college for ₹13 crore, a Naveen government college for ₹12 crore, a law college for ₹9 crore and a medical college for ₹400 crore. He also built new railway tracks in Rajgarh, Hiljipur, Narsinghgarh, Kurawar to Shyampur. The double engine government will drive Madhya Pradesh’s progress. In the last five years, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra has allocated ₹9 lakh crore for the state’s development.

Shri Shah emphasized that Guna Lok Sabha Candidate Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia is highly dedicated to development. The Scindia family has taken care of the Guna region like their own children. The BJP government constructed the Kurwai-Mungaoli-Chanderi national highway at a cost of ₹260 crore. ₹112 crore was invested in a housing scheme in Guna municipality. An airport was built for ₹45 crore, and ₹83 crore was allocated to health centers. ₹560 crore was spent on the Chanderi irrigation project and ₹90 crore on the Malhargarh irrigation project. ₹90 crore was spent on the Panheti irrigation project, covering 2,800 hectares. Shri Shah urged the public to support Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia and Shri Rodmal Nagar and contribute in the further development of the state. (Inputs BJP.org)
