New Delhi, Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation and Senior BJP leader Shri Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Hubli Dharwad, Karnataka, on Wednesday. During the event, Shri K.S. Navin, Shri M.R. Patil, Shri Mahesh, Shri M. Nagraj, Dharwad Lok Sabha candidate Shri Prahlad Joshi among other leaders were present.

Shri Shah commenced his address by seeking the blessings of Tai Bhuvneshwari. Dharwad is an important capital of classical music in India. Homage was paid to Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Joshi. The 2024 Lok Sabha elections are historic. There are two main parties in the election: On one side, there’s the Congress party embroiled in allegations of scams and corruption worth 12 lakh crores, and on the other side, there’s our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, who has not faced any allegations during his tenure as Chief Minister and Prime Minister for 23 years. On one hand, there are brothers and sisters going abroad to vacation as the summer heats up, while on the other hand, there’s Shri Narendra Modi who, for 23 years, has celebrated Diwali with soldiers on the borders without taking a break.

On one side, there’s Narendra Modi who imposed a ban on PFI, and on the other side, there’s the Congress party supporting SDPI. Between these two options lies the decision of who will be the Prime Minister of this country for the next five years, and which party should govern this nation. The people of Dharwad loudly chant “Modi” slogans. Whether it’s Kashmir or Kanyakumari, Bengal or Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh or Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka or Tamil Nadu, “Modi-Modi” chants are resonating everywhere. The entire nation has decided that this time, Modi should win with a resounding majority, and today I want to say here that let’s ensure such a massive victory for Shri Prahlad Joshi that no one dares to contest against him next time. Prahlad Joshi himself initiated the movement for the Tiranga from this very land, and it’s through his movement that the journey of honoring the flag began and today, Shri Narendra Modi has also hoisted the flag inside Lal Chowk in Kashmir.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation emphasized that Kashmir is an integral part of India. However, AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge questioned the relevance of Kashmir to states like Karnataka and Rajasthan. The Congress party accused the government of treating Kashmir as an ‘illegitimate son’ and not abrogating Article 370 for seventy years. On August 5th, 2019, PM Shri Narendra Modi abolished Article 370.

At that time, Rahul Gandhi had claimed that rivers of blood would flow in Kashmir after the removal of Article 370, but five years have passed and not even a stone has been lifted. Shri Narendra Modi is credited with ending terrorism in the country. During the tenure of Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh, for ten years, infiltrators from Pakistan would enter India daily, conduct bomb blasts, and retreatUnder Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, the BJP government responded swiftly to attacks in Uri and Pulwama by conducting surgical strikes and air strikes within ten days, effectively targeting terrorism in Pakistan’s territory.

Under PM Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, the BJP government swiftly conducted surgical strikes and air strikes within ten days, effectively targeting terrorism in Pakistan’s territory. The Congress party sought the help of SDPI to win elections, and soon after the elections, bomb blasts occurred in Bengaluru. Congress members claimed it was a gas cylinder explosion. BJP handed over the investigation to NIA, which revealed that anti-India elements were behind the bomb blastsCongress prioritized its vote bank over the security of Karnataka.

The people of Karnataka need to decide: on one side, there’s Shri Narendra Modi, who works to secure the country, and another side, there’s the Congress party, which doesn’t hesitate to ignore bomb blasts for the sake of its vote bank. Pressing the ‘Lotus’ symbol alongside Shri Prahlad Joshi’s name will ensure Shri Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister for the third time.

After Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister for the third time, the country will witness the eradication of terrorism and Naxalism. India’s economy will become the third-largest in the world. Three crore more women will benefit under the ‘Lakshmi Didi Yojana’. The successful execution of missions like Chandrayaan, Mangalyaan, and Adityayan will be accomplished. Peace will be established in Kashmir, the North East, and Naxal-affected regions.

Shri Shah highlighted that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi secured a second term, achieving legal victories and initiating ground-breaking ceremonies within five years. He emphasized the significance of the “Pran Pratishtha” ceremony, where key Congress leaders were notably absent due to their focus on vote-bank politics, which won’t be overlooked by the public. Shri Narendra Modi’s governance veered away from the Congress’ decades-long politics of division, corruption, and appeasement, redirecting the nation towards a path of development.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation urged the people to support Shri Prahlad Joshi, emphasizing his roots in Dharwad and his dedication to the constituency. Joshi’s straightforward demeanor belies his effectiveness in addressing local issues, evident in initiatives like COVID vaccination drives, especially in Hubli-Dharwad. Shri Prahlad Joshi facilitated the delivery of water connections to seventy percent of households in Dharwad, ensuring “Nal se Jal” access.

Shri Joshi also facilitated gas connections for thousands of households in Dharwad. Additionally, Shri Joshi oversaw the construction of 19 lakh homes and the installation of lakhs of public toilets. Furthermore, he provided insurance coverage of up to 5 lakh rupees to many mothers and sisters. Moreover, Shri Joshi distributed five kilograms of free grains per month to over fifteen lakh impoverished individuals in Dharwad.

Shri Shah commended Dharwad MP and Lok Sabha candidate Shri Prahlad Joshi’s comprehensive development work in Dharwad, encompassing infrastructure, social welfare, and economic empowerment. The importance of recognizing Shri Joshi’s contributions and supporting his endeavors for the continued progress and prosperity of the region. State’s Chief Minister indulges in internal politics, delaying funds for Karnataka.

The ongoing conflict between the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister led to this delay. Despite repeated requests, they delayed the process, and when the third request was sent, the Model Code of Conduct was enforced. They falsely accused the BJP of diverting attention. They believed that by targeting JDS, they could corner the BJP. BJP stands firm that it won’t tolerate any misconduct against women.

The Congress-led government failed to take necessary actions until the Vokkaligga belt election approached, allowing wrongdoers to escape. Even in such heinous crimes, they engage in politics. On April 18th, Neha Hiramath was murdered, and they claim it’s a personal matter. They threatened to disrupt college campuses if safety measures weren’t taken.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation Shri Shah highlighted that slogans of’ “Pakistan Zindabad” were heard inside the assembly, and CM K. Siddaramaiah claims not to have heard such slogans, but the echo reached Delhi. Minority leaders’ homes are set on fire, and SDPI supports them in Kerala, engaging in divisive politics to endanger Karnataka. Before Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s tenure, Karnataka had 25 National Highways spanning 6000 km, now there are 47 NHs covering 8000 km.

5 Vande Bharat trains were introduced, connecting Mysore-Chennai-Dharwad, Bangalore-Dharwad, and Hyderabad-Bangalore under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership. New airport is being built in Shimoga and Hubli, Upper Bhadra, Upper Krishna, and Kalsa Dungri have received ₹12,000 crore for irrigation projects. Textile parks have been established in Sidhgaon, mega dairy and medical facilities are underway in Haveri, all under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

In ten years of Congress rule, Karnataka received ₹1,42,000 crore, while Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi allocated ₹4,98,000 crore for Karnataka’s development in the same period. ₹1.5 lakh crore for infrastructure, ₹50,000 crore for roads, ₹75,000 crore for railways, and ₹11,000 crore for airways development. In the previous elections, Karnataka’s people gave 28 seats to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, this time let’s sweep and send a strong message to Congress. Urging the public of Dharwad, Shri Amit Shah appealed to support Shri Prahalad Joshi and ensure a landslide victory, aiming for “400 Paar” for the BJP. (Source BJP.org)
