Dr. Pradyumn Khachar Awarded ‘Sanskriti Samvardhan 2025’ by Kalatirth Trust Surat

Surat, At the Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul Vishwavidya Pratishthanam in Ahmedabad, Dr. Pradyumn Khachar, a distinguished historian, researcher, and noted writer from Junagadh, was honored with the ‘Sanskriti Samvardhan 2025’ award by Kalatirth Trust Surat. Dr. Khachar has been serving as a history professor at Dr. Subhash Mahila College in Junagadh for the past 33 years. He has made significant contributions to society, particularly through his extensive research and publications, having authored six books focused on Junagadh and a total of 33 books in his career.

Dr. Khachar is renowned for his dedication to continuous writing, reading, and delivering unbiased perspectives, which have become guiding principles of his life. To make historical knowledge accessible, he has uploaded over 500 valuable and well-researched videos on YouTube, benefiting people not just in India but across the world.

The award ceremony was graced by the presence of Shri Madhavpriyadasji, P.K. Laheri (former Chief Secretary), V.S. Gadhvi (former Director of Information), Kumarpal Desai, Bhagyash Jha, donor Smt. Pannaben Rasiklal Hemani, her sister Dakshaben Pinakinlal Sodagar, and trustee Ramanikbhai Jhapadiya.
