GLS – FOC Students Shine Bright at Talent Unlimited Season 6

Ahmedabad, GLS University’s Faculty of Commerce celebrated the boundless creativity of its students through the flagship cultural extravaganza Talent Unlimited Season 6.
The event commenced with week long workshops in Western Dance, Theatre and Folk dance in which the students were trained by professional artists in the month of August. The Semifinal Round of Talent Unlimited was held with over 150 students showcasing their remarkable skills in various art forms.
Competitions spanned across Western Dance, Bollywood Dance, Classical Dance, Semi-Classical Dance, Folk Dance, Singing, Instrumental Music, and Mono Acting. The stage came alive with diverse performances – from energetic Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Freestyle numbers to graceful Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Garba. The opening rounds brimmed with enthusiasm and provided students with a vibrant platform to exhibit their creativity and passion.
After intense auditions and elimination rounds, finalists set the stage ablaze at the Thakorebhai Desai Hall. Students enthralled the audience with soulful singing, enchanting instrumental music, acrobatic western dances, graceful classical and folk presentations, and thought-provoking mono-acts. The event also provided the platform to the participants of the workshops with the mesmerizing performances of Group Western Dance, Folk Dance as well as the Skits which were scripted and prepared by the students themselves.
The audience and the judges were left spellbound by the sheer versatility and energy of the participants.
A distinguished panel of judges, including Prahar Vora, Dhara Bhatt and Kathanki Raval praised the performances and acknowledged GLS-FOC as a stepping stone in their own artistic journeys. Their presence added further prestige to the event, inspiring students to pursue their talents with dedication.
The seamless execution of Talent Unlimited Season 6 was credited to the dedicated team of student volunteers which was co-ordinated by Dr. Anjali Trivedi, Dr. Devyani Chatterji and Dr. Hard Patel. The event was meticulously co-ordinated by Dr. Keyur Vohra, Dr. Nidhip Shah, Dr. Bhavna Parwani, Dr. Sneha Master, Dr. Gitanjali Rampal and Dr. Ankit Bhojak ensuring the event’s success.
