AMA launches “Advanced Diploma in Film Production and Management Course”

 by the Core Creative Team of the Gujarati Film ‘Lalo — Krishna Sada Sahayate’ and hosts Panel Discussion on “Changing the Scenario of the Gujarati Film Industry: Success Story of Movie Laalo — Krishna Sada Sahaayate”

The Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA), under the auspices of the Roopa and Anand Pandit – AMA Centre for Film Production Management, launched Advanced Diploma in Film Production and Management Course by the Core Creative Team of the Gujarati Film ‘Lalo — Krishna Sada Sahayate’ and hosted an insightful panel discussion titled “Changing the Scenario of the Gujarati Film Industry: Success Story of Movie Laalo — Krishna Sada Sahaayate” at AMA.

The discussion featured the core creative team behind the film, including Mr. Ankit Sakhiya (Director), Mr. Ajay Padariya (Producer), Mr. Shruhad Goswami (Actor) (Role: Krishna), Mr. Karan Joshi (Actor) (Role: Lalji) and Ms. Reeva Rachh (Actress) (Role: Tulsi). Mr. Ajay Singh Chudasama, Chairman of R WORLD Multiplexes and who launched Rajshri Cinema in 1994 provided an industry-wide perspective. Dr. Savan Godiawala, Past President, AMA moderated the discussion.

The ‘Advanced Diploma in Film Production and Management,’ developed by AMA for career building and skill development, is designed by film experts based on contemporary practices. The course aims to bridge the gap between creative vision and the business of cinema, offering practical training in production workflow and management. This six-month course will commence on January 17, 2026. Classes will be held at the AMA campus twice a week, on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The curriculum emphasizes a hands-on approach, integrating the experience of industry experts with current market trends.
