Dileep Sanghani inaugurates state-of-the-art Nano Fertilizer Plant at Devanahalli, Bengaluru
“This plant is a significant step towards realizing the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India),” said Dileep Sanghani.

Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), the country’s leading cooperative in the fertilizer sector, inaugurated its state-of-the-art Nano Fertilizer Plant at Devanahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The inauguration was carried out by IFFCO and NCUI Chairman Shri Dileep Sanghani.
During the inauguration ceremony, Shri Sanghani inspected the entire facility in detail and reviewed the production process, quality standards, and technological capabilities of the Nano Fertilizers. He stated that this plant marks a major step forward in realizing the vision of ‘Sahkar Se Samriddhi’ (Prosperity through Cooperation) articulated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Minister of Home and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah.
Spread over 12 acres, this modern Nano Fertilizer Plant is capable of producing two lakh (200,000) bottles of Nano Urea Plus per day. In the long run, the plant will significantly reduce the dependency on conventional urea in South India, lower import costs, and promote precision farming. The Devanahalli facility stands as a symbol of technological excellence, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and advanced processes for fertilizer production.
After the inauguration and inspection, Shri Sanghani interacted with the plant officials and scientists. He shared his thoughts on the importance of Nano Fertilizers, their role in shaping the future of Indian agriculture, and provided guidance on strengthening innovation-driven cooperative strategies.
IFFCO Vice Chairman Balveer Singh, former Chairman K. Shrinivasan Gowda, Managing Director K.J. Patel, along with Praladsingh, Vijay Shankar Rai, Vivek Kohle, Subrajit Padhi, Mara Ganga Reddy, Valmiki Tripathi, Jagdeep Singh Nakkai, Jayesh Raddadiya, Umesh Tripathi, Bhavesh Raddadiya, Premchand Munshee, Mukul Kumar, and Nano Unit Head Sanjay Kulshreshtha, as well as members of the Board of Directors and their families, were present on this occasion.
