“Shanti Business School (SBS), Ahmedabad celebrated its 13th convocation”
Ahmedabad, Shanti Business School (SBS), Ahmedabad celebrated its 13th convocation for the PGDM students of the Class 2022-24 recently. Mr. Kishore Ajwani, Managing Editor News18 India was the Chief Guest of the event. SBS conferred degrees to 150 students who graduated in the year 2024.
The celebrations started with the academic procession in which the graduands were ushered with musical accompaniment into the venue. The dignitaries adorned the dias and after the customary lamp lighting, the Chief Guest Mr. Kishore Ajwani was felicitated with the Bouquet of flowers.
Shri Brijmohan Chiripal, Chairman, Chiripal Charitable Trust presided over the Convocation. Dr. Neha Sharma, Director SBS welcomed all the dignitaries, invitees, parents, faculty and graduands. Dr. Neha Sharma said that “Convocation is a symbol of progress, change, and fulfilment. As you go forth in your journey, remember the values of Excellence, Innovation and Social responsibility that guided you during the two rigourous years of Education at Shanti Business School”.
The Chief Guest Mr. Kishore Ajwani in his address advised the class to “Step into this new dimension of life with purpose—define your own success, embrace curiosity, and build meaningful relationships. Pause the chase for instant gratification, seek lifelong learning, and let mentors challenge your growth. As disruptors of your generation, you have the power not just to navigate the future but to shape it.”
The Executive Registrar Shri KGK Pillai called out the names of the graduands who were awarded with their diplomas. The Overall Academic excellence award, given to the topper of the Class 2022-24 was presented to Rakesh Dhanki.
The others who received meritorious awards as the toppers of their respective specializations – Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, International Business, Data science, Communications and Supply Chain Management were Lavish Paliwal, Upendra Kumar, Sreetama Das Gupta, Priyansh Dhakan, Priyanshi Mourya, Shivani and Sakshi Jain respectively.
The audience appreciated and responded overwhelmingly and expressed their joyful gratitude for molding these graduates as professionals. The success of the event was evident through the joyful smiles of the parents.
Students of SBS got placed in reputed companies like Nestle, Federal Bank, S&P Global, MRF, Deloitte, Kantar, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Perfetti Van Melle, etc. May the student managers be blessed as they continue their journey in the mainstream corporate world.
