ShemarooMe Announces the Digital Premiere of Gujarati Dark-Comedy Thriller ‘Shubhchintak’
Swapnil Joshi Makes His Debut in Gujarati Cinema Alongside Manasi Parekh & Viraf Patell
Mumbai, ShemarooMe, one of India’s leading OTT platforms for premium Gujarati entertainment, has announced the digital premiere of the highly anticipated Gujarati film ‘Shubhchintak’ on 18th December 2025. Directed by Nisarg Vaidya, this dark-comedy thriller brings together an exceptional cast and introduces a refreshing new genre to Gujarati cinema. Blending humour with tension, the film offers a gripping narrative that keeps viewers hooked till the very last moment.
Shubhchintak features an impressive ensemble including Manasi Parekh, Swapnil Joshi, Viraf Patell, Deep Vaidya, Mehul Buch, Tusharika Rajyaguru, Nisarg Trivedii, Morli Patel and Viya Rathod. Produced by Parthiv Gohil and Manasi Parekh, with Dhaval Thakkar.
The film follows Meghna, a novice who, along with two accomplices, sets out to honey-trap Sanjay as part of a revenge plan. However, what begins as a calculated plot soon spirals into a series of comic misadventures, emotional confrontations, and unexpected consequences. As Meghna finds herself caught between vengeance and morality, the film explores whether revenge can truly bring closure or destroy far more than intended.
Speaking about the film, actor-producer Manasi Parekh shared, “Shubhchintak is a fast-paced dark-comedy thriller and brings a completely fresh flavour to Gujarati cinema.
