For the first time in the history of the Indian film industry, five mega projects were announced together
Bengaluru, history was made in Bengaluru when for the first time ever, five mega-budget films helmed by different directors were launched in a single day. The films launched under the aegis of RC Studios (a pan-Indian motion picture production, distribution and acquisition company) were greenlighted by producer Anand Pandit and Karnataka’s Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The titles are Kabzaa 2, P.O.K., Father, Dog, and Sri Ramabana Charita.
Pandit, whose own production house Anand Pandit Motion Pictures is known for making pan-Indian films, will be presenting all five films. He says, “I am thrilled to back these five projects and it was a great honour to be present at their launch. This day signals a new era in truly pan-Indian film-making. This was a historic moment and I wish RC Studios the very best and hope they reach many more cinematic milestones.”
Also present at the occasion were Alankar Pandian of Invenio Origin Company, Singapore, and actor Upendra.
