Poetry Recitation Competition at Faculty of Commerce, GLS University

Ahmedabad, The Speaker’s Forum at GLS University’s Faculty of Commerce hosted a mesmerizing and intellectually stimulating Poetry Recitation Competition under its annual intra-college competition- MANTHAN – A thought provoking mission. This event, held under the banner of the forum’s theme Speak to Lead, provided a dynamic platform for students to express their creativity, convey powerful messages, and showcase their artistic skills.

The poems varied in style and theme, with some being adapted and some self-written. Each performance was met with enthusiastic applause, as the audience was captivated by the eloquence and depth of the verses presented.

Ms. Jigna Juwad, an alumnus of Faculty of Commerce, judged the recitation competition and encouraged the participants to participate in more competitions without worrying about the result as these competitions are the platforms where a student can polish their skills.  Aarav Singh secured the first position, Forum Shah & Ashish Prajapati bagged the second position and Kishan Desai & Keshvi Patel secured the third position.

Poetry recitation competition was coordinated by student team under the guidance of Dr. Bhumika Ansodaria & Dr. Gitanjali Rampal.
