Ahmedabad, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) in association with Institute for Plasma Research (IPR) & AIC-IPR Plasmatech Innovation Foundation organized seminar on Surface Modification Using Plasma Technologies (SMPT-2025) on 4th February 2025 at the FCIPT, IPR, Gandhinagar. The event witnessed a turnout of researchers, industry professionals and academics eager to explore the latest advancements in plasma surface modification techniques.
Shri R. D. Barhatt,, Joint Commissioner of Industries, Government of Gujarat delivered an insightful inaugural address. He emphasized the government’s continued commitment to promoting technological advancements and supporting initiatives that foster industrial growth, particularly for startups and MSMEs within the state.
He highlighted various government programs designed to empower these sectors, enabling them to adopt innovative technologies such as plasma surface modification.
