Star Cast of ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ – Varun, Janhvi, Sanya Visit Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, September 2025: The star cast of Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar’s much-awaited film ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ visited Ahmedabad as part of the film’s promotional tour.

Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, and Maniesh Paul attended a grand promotional event in the city and even joined fans in the festive spirit by playing Garba. Produced under the banner of Dharma Productions and set to release on October 2, the film has already generated immense buzz among audiences. Promising a delightful mix of light-hearted romance, comedy, confusion, and emotions, the film is positioned as a complete family entertainer.

Talking about the storyline—Varun Dhawan’s character is in love with Sanya Malhotra, but she is set to marry Rohit Saraf, who happens to be the ex-boyfriend of Janhvi Kapoor’s character. Both Varun and Janhvi are upset about their respective lovers’ marriage. The twist unfolds when Varun tells Janhvi that his ex and her ex are marrying each other.

Bonding over their broken hearts, the two come closer and hatch a plan to win back their lost loves. To execute this, they transform their looks and pretend to be each other’s boyfriend and girlfriend, setting the stage for a series of comic, romantic, and emotional moments.

During their Ahmedabad visit, the star cast shared, “Gujarati audiences have always embraced films with open hearts. The love and respect we received in Ahmedabad is truly special for us.”

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment. Producers include Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, Adar Poonawalla, and Shashank Khaitan. The film’s music has also been gaining popularity since release. The song ‘Bijuriya’, recreated by Tanishk Bagchi and inspired by the original Sonu Nigam classic, has become a hit. Meanwhile, the recently released track ‘Tu Hai Meri’ is already creating waves among audiences.

‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ is slated to release in cinemas across India on October 2, 2025, and is set to be the perfect family entertainer this festive season.
