Gujarat Girl Shines at the 63rd National Skating Competition at Vishakhapatnam
Ahmedabad, Gujarat’s skating contingent delivered an outstanding performance at the 63rd National Roller Skating Championship, held recently at Visakhapatnam from 5th to 15th December securing multiple medals across various categories and bringing immense pride to the state.
The young and talented skaters from Gujarat showcased remarkable skill, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the championship. Their achievements stand as a testament to the state’s growing excellence in skating and the strong support system provided by coaches, parents, and sporting institutions.
In Figure Skating Girls 06 to 08 years Mishika Modi won a Gold Medal and Aanya Tekwani won a Bronze Medal. In Figure Skating Girls 08 to 10 years Aarna Patel won Gold Medal and Aarohi Tekwani won a Bronze Medal. In Figure Skating 10 to 12 years Maanvi Shah won a Bronze Medal. In Solo Dance Girls 06 to 08 years Aanya Tekwani won a Silver Medal and Mishika Modi won a Bronze Medal. The Gujarat contingent won 7 medals. It is also first time 2 sisters won medals in same event for Gujarat.
The young Turks medal tally not only reflects their hard work but also marks a significant milestone for Gujarat in the national sporting arena. Their victory has brought honour to the state and inspired many upcoming athletes to pursue excellence in skating.
