Joyful Celebration for Municipal School Children at GLS University
Ahmedabad, On 8th January 2025, GLS University’s Faculty of Commerce organized ‘PRAYAS-CHARITY WITH SMILE’ program. The event was attended by 40 students and 2 teachers from Municipal School No. 2 and Municipal School No. 26 of Ahmedabad.
GLS University’s Registrar, Dr. Dhruv Brahmbhatt graced the occasion. Dr. Dhruv Brahmbhatt motivated the children by emphasizing the importance of education and skill development in life, highlighting that consistent hard work is essential for success. Addressing the college students, he mentioned that such initiatives nurture a sense of social responsibility and help them evolve into conscientious citizens contributing significantly to the development of the nation. Engaging in charity activities provides students with valuable experiences that can shape their future lives, careers, and overall sense of purpose.
The program began with a soulful prayer, followed by various entertaining activities and games. These included mind games like Action-Reaction, Tongue Twisters, Antakshari, and quizzes. All the children enthusiastically participated and enjoyed the activities. The musical performances added charm to the event and innovative games like “Just a Minute” were particularly enjoyable.
At the end of the program, all children were gifted with stationery kits, pouches, pens, socks, biscuits, chocolates, and surprise gifts. As Uttarayan is approaching, each child also received a beautiful set of kites.
The college auditorium was transformed into a lively celebration venue for this joyous occasion. The event was managed under the guidance of Dr. Krupa Bhatt, Dr. Sneha Master, Dr. Bhumika Ansodaria, Dr. Kruti Shah and Dr. Bimal Solanki, along with active participation from semester 2 students of Faculty of Commerce.
