National, 30th Aug 2024: For the first time ever, India will witness a breathtaking fusion of ice skating, theatre, and Arabian tales with the arrival of the critically acclaimed Scheherazade – Ice Show, featuring Olympic Gold Medallist Figure Skater Tatiana Navka. This extraordinary production, inspired by the legendary stories from One Thousand and One Nights, promises to captivate audiences with a stunning blend of music, dance, animation, and cutting-edge video mapping technology.
Organized by Navka Show Company, a leading international production company renowned for creating, staging, and touring original ice shows, in collaboration with Laqshya Media Group, one of India’s largest marketing communication and experiential companies, as the event partner, this spectacular event will take place at EKA Arena in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, for an exclusive, limited run of five performances from 18th to 20th October 2024.
Scheherazade brings the enchanting tales of love and adventure to life through the artistry of world-renowned figure skaters, including Olympic, World, and European champions. The star-studded international cast features Tatiana Navka as Sais, Victoria Sinitsina as Scheherazade, Nikita Katsalapov as Shahryar, Povilas Vanagas as King Mirgali, Ivan Righini as Aladdin, and Egor Murashov as Jinn. Each performance promises awe-inspiring feats of figure skating that will transport audiences into a magical realm where ice dancing becomes a theatrical wonder.
Tatiana Navka, an Olympic champion, a two-time World champion, a three-time Grand Prix Final champion, and a three-time European champion, as well as producer, director and choreographer and mind behind this visually stunning production, expressed her excitement about bringing the show to India. “Scheherazade is not just a show; it’s a journey into a world of wonder. We are thrilled to share this magical experience with Indian audiences, who will see our cast of champions bring these timeless tales to life on ice,” said Navka.
This grand-scale ice show marks the first time India will host such a unique event. Every element—from the intricate choreography and dramatic lighting to the spectacular costumes and immersive storytelling—creates an unforgettable experience. Audiences will be mesmerized by the spellbinding performances and the sheer artistry of the world-class skaters as they glide, spin, and leap across the expansive ice rink.

- 19th October 2024 (Saturday): Shows at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM
- 20th October 2024 (Sunday): Shows at 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM
