Ujmabanu from Bodeli is thrilled about getting a government job that ensures her family’s future

Wants to set an example for other girls to move ahead in their careers and pursue their dreams with confidence

Expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Postal Department for helping her secure her dream job and giving her an opportunity to serve the people of her area

Vadodara, Khatri Ujmabanu Javed Bhai from Bodeli has been appointed as the Branch Post Master of the Modaser Branch. She is thrilled to receive the appointment letter, as it ensures her and her family’s future. She is also motivated to inspire girls from her community and tribal area to pursue their dreams. She expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Postal Department for helping her secure her dream job and an opportunity to serve the people of her area.

Ujmabanu Khatri is among the young recruits who received their appointment letters at the first Rozgar Mela of the financial year 2024-25 held at the Postal Training Centre in Vadodara. Her mother is into tailoring, and her father runs a provision store. She has worked in both the private and government sectors on a contract basis and is now happy to have a permanent job and to see herself recruited as BPM in Modaser.  Ujmabanu  earlier was a teacher in a government school, and this is her first government job. She hails from a tribal area and wants to break the taboo related to girls.

“I often see girls from the tribal area and in my community stop learning after the 12th grade and do not get into doing jobs due to family and social issues. I want to break that taboo and set an example for other girls to move ahead in their fields and make contribution in development of their city, state, and country. This job is very important to me as it provides security for me and my family. I thank our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the postal department for this job, and I promise to reach every person in my area to create awareness about government schemes,” said Ujmabanu Khatri.
