GCCI Business Women Committee organized a Programme on “Influence with Image Building,”

Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) along with their Business Women Committee organized a Programme on “Influence with Image Building.”

Ahmedabad, The Esteemed speaker on the occasion was Ms. Mansi Patel, Founder, Tenth Muse Image Management.

Welcoming the participants, BWC Chairperson Prachi Patwari mentioned about the importance of one’s image towards creating positive influence. She remarked that non-verbal communication in interaction with others is as important as the words one speaks during such interaction and that one’s poise, presence and persona counts in creating positive impact. She welcomed Ms. Mansi Patel and remarked that the insight she would provide will be immensely useful to the participants.

Ms. Asha Vaghasia, Co. Chairperson, GCCI BWC introduced the speaker to the audience. She remarked that in addition to being the founder of Tenth Muse Image Management, Ms. Mansi Patel is a multi-faceted, versatile personality, having been a successful Telecom Sales Professional as also an accomplished horse rider and a classically trained dancer. She remarked about her rich experience of more than 25 years with renowned companies like Vodafone, You Telecom, Tata Communications Limited etc.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Mansi Patel emphasized the power of first impressions and how personal appearance, attire, grooming, and body language play a crucial role in shaping professional image and credibility. She shared with the participants the concept of the Image Cycle and explained the visual impact of non-verbal cues. She also showcased an International Style Scale adapted to Indian professional wear.

Participants engaged in interactive exercises, self-assessments, and set personal improvement goals for better image management. The session highlighted that effective image management boosts confidence, capability, and productivity, making it a vital tool for professionals and leaders alike.

The programme concluded after the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Gopi Trivedi, Knowledge Series Head of GCCI BWC.
